OMAKASE PRODUCTIONS was founded in 2018 by award winning unscripted showrunner/executive producer and executive, Todd Hurvitz, along with acclaimed documentary producer, Madison Passarelli.

Todd has most recently served as Director of Non-Fiction Series at Netflix where he launched and oversaw some of its biggest unscripted series including Ancient Apocalypse, Wyatt Earp & The Cowboy War, Barbecue Showdown, Is It Cake? and Outlast. As an independent creative Todd has been involved in the development, sale and execution of some of television’s most memorable and lasting series such as PUNK’D, Swamp People, Ghosts in the Hood, Summer House, Porter Ridge and The Substitute.

Madison has produced such notable documentary series as HBO’s The Lady and the Dale and The Invisible Pilot, and the HBO feature documentary, Enigma. Additionally she produced the documentaries The One and Only Dick Gregory (Showtime) and Queenmaker (Hulu) as well as having served on season 2 of Showtime’s groundbreaking series The Circus and helping launch Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas (HBO). Her films have premiered at the Sundance and Tribeca Film Festivals, and have received Emmy, Real Screen, and GLAAD award nominations. Madison has a genuine passion for complex characters and audacious stories that provide a unique lens from which we can view our modern day circumstances.
