OMAKASE PRODUCTIONS was founded in 2018 by award winning showrunner/executive producer Todd Hurvitz and acclaimed documentary producer, Madison Passarelli.

Todd has most recently served as Director of Non-Fiction Series at Netflix where he launched and oversaw some of its biggest unscripted series including Ancient Apocalypse, Wyatt Earp & The Cowboy War, Barbecue Showdown, Is It Cake? and Outlast. As an independent creative Todd has been involved in the development, sale and execution of some of television’s most memorable and lasting series such as PUNK’D, Swamp People, Ghosts in the Hood, Summer House, Porter Ridge and The Substitute.

Madison has produced such noted documentary films and series as The Lady and the Dale, The One and Only Dick Gregory, The Invisible Pilot and April & Amanda as well as having worked on the groundbreaking series The Circus and helping launch Wyatt Cenac’s Problem Areas.

OMAKASE has collaborated with the many of the biggest names in cable, broadcast and OTT. We strive to deliver unique long or short form content that entertains, engages and rises above the fray of forgettable programming.
